Portlux

Portlux, a band that celebrated their foundation at an old, abandoned port in 2018 in Cologne, Germany. Originally founded as a German Alternative-Rock band, they still consist of the two founding members, Lukas Kletsch (Vocals) and Kai Ostrowski (Guitars). With the will of a transition into a more modern style, personel changes were essential and led to the accession of Domenik Schumacher in 2019 as the drummer. Their broad portfolio of different musical ambiences is a symbol for their long band history and changes between the genres. Currently, they cross the boundaries between Rock, Metal and Electronics by combining painful vocals, heavy guitar riffs with modern electronic synth sounds.

Their new Alternative-Rock Song "December" describes the concrete emotion of reflecting a year at its end, while preparing oneself for a restart at the same time.
The song's sound has a modern rock/metal vibe, combining low end riffage with spheric synths on top.
The ambience is dark and mysterious, as this time of the year typically is, with a powerful catchy chorus.

Their productions base on a close collaboration with "Studio 39" in Niederzier, Germany, led by Stefan Vogt, which endows this project with an exclusive production musical quality and sharpness to hit the audience with their new songs and to deliver a competetive quality.
