The Portvain project has existed since 2016 and was positioned as a DJ - creating mixes from dark electro, aggrotech, industrial, rhythmic noise at various events in Chelyabinsk and Yekaterinburg. From 2018 - 2020, Chelyabinsk hosted 7 dark parties organized by him - "DARK RAVE". These concerts were held with the support of the cybergot community created by Portvain - CYBER URAL, which united connoisseurs of industrial culture in the region and not only.
Since 2019, the musician has been creating a solo project with original music and releasing the single "Hit of All Dark Discos", in which he speaks sarcastically about dark electro music.
In 2021, a big work is coming out - the album "Russian Death", which combines elements of dark electro, eurodance, and pop music. The lyrics in the album tell about the political and social problems of Russia, as well as about the themes of death, self-destruction, love and hate. The album received positive reviews from the public, and the musician announced the gradual transition of his music to alternative pop. The musician defines his genre as necro pop.
