Since spring 2023 I have been writing and recording mainly as a "one man band", using acoustic & electric guitars, bass guitar, keyboards, an old piano, conga, etc. and a voice.
Former member of German bands: In Rags (with Sami Yli-Sirniö and Roman Keymer), Sharkpool and Dutch bands Garbitsjkeng, The Wit, Trio van Putten and and a few others. I baptized my Alter Ego and named him "Pot Barley".

Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Other 60s / 70s bluesrock like Free, Bad Company, Deep Purple, Buffalo Springfield / Neil Young / Bob Dylan
Radiohead
Quality Soul Music, like James Brown, Tower of Power, Curtis Mayfield, George Clinton
Zappa
I really like the music of Taylor Swift, I think it has been a long time ago that such a talented and innovative songwriter got this big.
Velvet Underground, Modern Lovers
But also great local bands like Brainbox (!!) from Holland and Can (!!) Germany.
And classical music a.o. Vivaldi, Bach, Mussorgski, Prokoview, Wagner
