Powersection

Powersection is a distinguished Norwegian blues band renowned for their authentic and vibrant blues and funky sound. The band is comprised of six talented musicians:

- Geir Rune Finnstun, Vocals, guitar, harmonica, and jaw harp
- Jan Pastor Stenmo, Guitar and vocals
- Trond Graff, Hammond B3 and piano
- Stein Olav Ruud, Drums
- Jan Willy Nomerstad, Bass and vocals
- Erik E-Flat Bentsen, Saxophone and vocals

Powersection’s music is characterized by heartfelt blues, impassioned vocal performances, and a dynamic fusion of instruments. Jan Pastor Stenmo’s skillful guitar playing and soulful vocals lay a strong foundation, while Trond Graff’s mastery of the Hammond B3 and piano adds rich, melodic layers. Stein Olav Ruud’s drumming provides a solid and driving rhythm, essential to the band's energetic performances.

Geir Rune Finnstun brings versatility with his multiple talents, adding depth with his guitar, harmonica, and jaw harp, as well as his strong vocal contributions. Jan Willy Nomerstad’s bass lines and backing vocals provide a robust backbone to the band's sound, and Erik E-Flat Bentsen’s saxophone playing adds a unique and compelling dimension, making the band’s blues resonate with a distinct flair.
