Martin Simutowe aka PreCepts is an underground Emcee who is the founding member of Nazirite/OneightzerO. PreCepts like most people today was raised in the church but did not live out the life of a Christian, instead of pursuing holiness and the lifestyle of a Christian PreCepts then known as Dollar was fixated on making money and chasing ladies. With an arrogant attitude PreCepts saw no need for the Savoir and was living life on his own terms. At the age of 17 years he got intercepted with the Truth as he was asked the question ‘WHY DO YOU (GOD) EXIST?’. This question lead him on the path to question all his motives, he then stumbled on the truth that he was solely created to pursue God and His glory and not chase after cash and women.
For almost a decade now PreCepts has concentrated on outreach in schools, universities and neighborhood evangelism. Since 2013 he has been recording albums namely Therapy (2016), Therapy II (2018), Life & Livin’ (2019), One Day T’ll All Make Sense (2020) + Court In Session (2021) + Reporting To You Live (2022).
