Precious Metals is a alt-rock endeavor led by Troy, NY singer-songwriter J. Lee White, featuring a band of established local musicians--Rich Derbyshire (bass), Chase Keener (keys, guitar) and Brandon Rustki (drums). The band’s high energy alt-rock sound pulls from the early 2000s emo explosion and 2010s indie rock revival. In their short time on the scene, they have taken the stage at Albany’s Pearlpalooza and Tulip Fest, traveled to the celebrated Appleton, WI fest Mile of Music and played the inaugural Bacchanalia festival in Troy.
