Prep Dolla

Born in Yellowstone area Southside of Houston, Texas as Kevin Adkins Jr. At an early age he was always intrigued by music and instruments. During his childhood he connected with local artists such as Dizzy D and Say Snap. Growing up he experienced a broken home which left him to be raised by his late grandmother Gladys Marie McDaniel who he dedicates his career to as well. During his teenage years at Jack Yates High School he found his niche also in basketball and received a full academic scholarship to the University of Houston and majored in Criminal Justice. As an adult doing music he met Scoopastar who took him under his wing and also gave him his stage name “Prep Dolla” due his clean cut preppy image. He has been influenced by a host of main stream artists such as DMX, Nas, Scarface and Kanye West. In recent years he met his business partner of Kre8ive Network “E Blue”. In the midst of the pandemic in 2021 he dropped 10 Visuals and is currently working on his first solo album “ By All Means Necessary” due to drop April 26, 2022. Now is the time to reveal true lyricism and talent and leave his mark on the industry.
