PRES, raised in Cleveland, Ohio, is the next generation lyricist. His fast delivery and deep lyrical content sets him apart from your typical rapper.


In early 2016, SoundCloud became the platform PRES used to first start releasing music. SoundCloud also allowed him to begin building a dedicated following. Tracks like “Even If” and “Lost” quickly gained attention across the platform. The success from SoundCloud influenced PRES to release his first studio EP titled “The Warm Up” in 2018. The album featured a collection of five tracks, and allowed PRES to gain confidence and traction in his pursuit of a music career.


With representation from Drop It InDi Management, PRES has been able to play local shows and grow a dedicated following. In late 2019, he released his debut album, “It Wasn’t Easy to Be Happy for You”, a project inspired by the growth that PRES has experienced in the last few years. The lead singles, Die Young and Speakers Slap, attracted high attention towards the project. “Used to be a boy who needed to grow... I’m all grown now”, he says on the title track ‘Happy for You’.
