Serving up a wild mix of garage, punk, Motorik, and psych, Los Angeles' Prettiest Eyes feature drummer/vocalist Pachy García, bassist Marcos Rodríguez, and keyboardist Paco Casanova. Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Pachy and Marcos founded Prettiest Eyes and Casanova joined after original keyboardist Love Juice departed. The band released their self-titled debut EP digitally in November 2013, and followed with the PEEP EP the next January (later that year, Moon Kid issued the two EPs as a cassette). In 2014, the group also released a split cassette with Kim & the Created. A year later, <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Aagoo%22">Aagoo</a> issued Prettiest Eyes' debut album, Looks. <a href="spotify:artist:3qYfqdVwX0fil71onLpLkh">Thee Oh Sees</a>' <a href="spotify:artist:5vIYVb7FAzYeQRE8xuYS9j">John Dwyer</a> signed the band to his <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Castle+Face%22">Castle Face</a> label, which released their second album, Pools, in 2017. 2019's Vol. 3, also issued by <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Castle+Face%22">Castle Face</a>, found Prettiest Eyes moving even deeper into lo-fi electronics and synth punk territory. ~ Heather Phares, Rovi
