Pretty Savage

Growing up between Virginia and North Carolina, Pretty Savage was the only girl in her family. She’d always loved writing poems which ultimately evolved into raps. She often shared her rhymes with her brother who encouraged her to perfect the craft. She continued writing and eventually grew more eager to take her talent seriously.


As a teen mother, Pretty Savage did whatever it took to provide for her family despite splitting with her child’s father. Notwithstanding the life altering experience and demanding requirements of motherhood, she continued to write and pursue her music while caring for her son.
Things began to heat up for the artist after featuring on a local artists’ track, “No Fucks” in 2016. Savage did not expect the track to gain so much attention so quickly and she definitely didn’t anticipate her feature to be discovered by G Herbo’s 150 Dream Team camp. A survivor of childhood trauma and domestic abuse, Savage is on an arduous journey to true self love and her goal is for this new music to speak to her experiences along the way.
