In 2009, a vision was born. Real music, written about true life experiences and performed without the constraints of having to fit into the box of any certain genre. Not just another band, a Prezzence. Two years later, that vision began to take shape when bassist Todd Stowers and drummer Steve DiVirgilio met during the formation of a cover project. Very soon after, the two, along with the lead guitarist from the cover band, left that project and began writing and recording new material. Prezzence was born.
After a few years, a few lineup changes, and some minor success, in 2017, guitarist Mark Eades came on board. It was instantaneously evident by the chemistry and improved sound that a previously missing piece of the puzzle had been found. The final piece was added in early 2023, when Katie Miller joined Prezzence. Her unbelievable range, tone, soul, and high energy definitely brought the band to a new level.
Prezzence is a melting pot of so many influences and genres that it's nearly impossible to list them all. A quick trip through their library of songs will attest to this fact. While there is a definite rock influence, you'll hear so much more.
Prezzence has been blessed to perform as support for such acts as <a href="spotify:artist:6BdSOHfQ6kMg0tbAFlXR1z" data-name="Nonpoint">Nonpoint</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1OVyBGCKn7vObVIVPXcmLa" data-name="Otherwise">Otherwise</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6BMhCQJYHxxKAeqYS1p5rY" data-name="Hinder">Hinder</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1ZjAT2nTrzDIXFfsQ2hWJk" data-name="Adelitas Way">Adelitas Way</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:6WMo39FU3nrpSz3qMgRKug" data-name="Black Stone Cherry">Black Stone Cherry</a>.
