PRIMME

PRIMME (pronounced “Prime”) is a New York City-based pop recording artist, producer, and performer. Growing up in the 90s, PRIMME has been inspired by a narrative songwriting style that he infuses with elements of EDM and R&B as he creates his own flavor of dancefloor-thumping pop. What makes any PRIMME song a signature is the shimmer on the surface with the production and the bubbling ethos underneath it because of the autobiographical songwriting.

A staple at LGBTQ+ summer Pride festivals in the Northeast and beyond, PRIMME brings his vibrant musical theatre background to his live shows as he contextualizes his anthemic singles that span an array of themes, from activism and acceptance (#inmyPRIMME, Give Me Life) to love and loss (Adore, Brooklyn).

PRIMME’s list of musical inspirations are as varied as his own discography. His songcraft channels the poetic relatability of Lauv, over production that grooves with the electronic flair of Justin Timberlake, sprinkled with hints of Troye Sivan. Then with a fleet of backup dancers, his fiery and energetic live performances bring the adrenaline and exuberance of Madonna.
