Prince of Samoa is a band that embraces the Nu Metal genre, formed in 2024 in Padang, Indonesia. Often referred to simply as SAMOA, the band consists of Dika, Youngsu, Aris, Meggi, Fito, Dafa, Irvan and Rama.
Their debut single "Resonansi Jiwa" was released in 2025. With lyrics that ignite spirit and passion, the track combines assertive vocals and tight rap verses, all while preserving a raw yet modern sound. SAMOA channels this spirited energy through every gig and live performance they take part in.
The band draws heavy inspiration from legendary acts such as Saint Loco, Architects and Linkin Park, crafting a powerful sonic identity of their own.
