Adam Acosta-Kee, better known as Prod. 16 Beats, is a 19 year old music artist and producer from Aurora, IL. He would spend many hours at home in his room creating beats on Sountrap and GarageBand. Early life for 16 Beats was not the most ideal, for he was put into foster care at age 10 where he would live with his aunt and uncle to present day. Dealing with the hardships of this new lifestyle and hardships, he would find his to escape reality with music from his favorite artist. At 13 years old, he decided to become a music artist just like those that helped him through tough times. With hours of analyzing and listening to music, 16 beats already had ideas for what he wanted to create in his music. He would soon start to release type beats on YouTube and SoundCloud for feedback and to gain an audience. At 16 years old he would finally start to release original songs/beats with his first single “Moonlight”. Later that year he would drop his hit single with over 2K streams, “Die For You” which would be the lead single for his second album “Shreds” that released in early 2024. In June 2024, the release of his EP “PINK THOUGHTS” along with a deluxe.
