Prodi Lemaj

Prodi Lemaj is a 24-year old rap artist from Anderson, South Carolina. He is one half of a self-named rap duo consisting of himself and his closest friend and frequent collaborator Skuhd Taylor. Prodi started experimenting with writing poetry, songs, and raps in the fifth grade, and continued to nurture his passion all the way through middle school, high school, and adulthood.


Growing up a rap nerd of sorts, Prodi soaked in influences from a wide variety of rap artists, including, but not limited to Jay-Z, Eminem, Kanye West, Notorious B.I.G., 2Pac, Wu-Tang Clan, N.W.A, Snoop Dogg, T.I., Lil Wayne, Drake, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Nas, Outkast, Future, Kevin Gates, Young Thug, Migos, A$AP Rocky, Big Sean, Isaiah Rashad, etc. Prodi’s songs are a melting pot of all of these different artists style, seeking to merge the lyricism, metaphors, multi-syllabic rhyme patterns, and content of the ‘90’s era boom bop artists, with the syrupy, 808-heavy, trap-based music of the current generation, incorporating the nimble flows, catchy hooks, and jubilant boastfulness of the popular contemporary rap artists.


Prodi & Skuhd released their first EP “Little Did You Know” on November 9th, 2018. It consisted of singles such as “Lanes” and “All Year”. They followed up in 2019 with “Skuhd SZN” “Kick Roxx” and many other releases. They most recently released their album “Pressure” on May 15th, 2020, which features singles such as “FWTB” and “Never Fold (Outro)”.
