Prodigal Horizon marks a new chapter in Garrett Chambers’ musical journey and a shift from the intensity of his heavy-rock roots into a faith-driven calling. Since the age of 14 he has been vested in creating music. Over time, Garrett felt a deeper pull: to transform that same intensity and emotion into music that bridges real-life struggle with spirituality.
With over two decades of songwriting experience, both privately and professionally as a ghostwriter, Garrett’s path has its evolution since 2002 spanning alternative and hardcore bands, solo acoustic work, and co-founding / fronting a nationally touring metal act. He made the decisive move to leave behind connections that no longer aligned with his walk, committing to faith-based music.
Owning his own studio and drawing from his diverse musical background, Garrett began writing Prodigal Horizon in 2023, dedicating his craft to worship, revival, and God’s purpose.
The name Prodigal Horizon reflects the Biblical parable of the Prodigal Son—a story of return, redemption, and an endless horizon of God’s mercy. Carrying Garrett’s signature atmospheric soundscapes and emotionally raw depth openly on display through his lyrics, the project centers on hope, perseverance, forgiveness, and renewal.
