Project 9 is an anti-pseudo-Buddhist progressive nu-metalcore hip-hop group from Kowloon East, Hong Kong. The members consist of a group of enlightened monks from different time periods who have achieved buddhahood and solidified their kinship through various adventures they’ve shared across the 6th and 7th dimensions. Longing for a peaceful life and powered by their state of absolute internal bliss, the monks formed a band and chose to plunge themselves into the everyday chaos of the common man. Every song is an ode to sorrow, a tribute to life, an unveiling of the underlying darkness that plagues this land.
