Based in Los Angeles, California, Max Hahn, better known as Projector, is a producer of infectious dance-oriented electronic music. Fascinated with the LA house scene and inspired by the interaction between sound and electronics, Hahn began to sink his teeth into producing at age 14, experimenting with GarageBand and then quickly transitioning to Ableton.
Eager to hone his skills, Hahn went on to study electronic music at Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland for two years, then decided to take another path by accepting an apprenticeship at the legendary Quad Studios in New York. Itching to get back into the LA music scene, Hahn later moved back west to work at Nightbird Recording studios, where he began to develop his own sound.
