Phajean 'Shamir' Francis, professionally known as PROMKNGHT, is a Miami-born, Bronx-raised recording artist, sound engineer, and songwriter. His dedication and passion for music have transformed his initial hobby into a successful career, characterized by his distinctive blend of alternative R&B, layered with undertones of 90s and early 2000s R&B. PROMKNGHT's unique sound and fervor for music transport listeners on an evocative journey, leaving them yearning for more.

Since the age of 16, PROMKNGHT has been independently writing and recording music. He officially launched his career under the name PROMKNGHT with the release of his debut single, "Superior," in 2017. This was shortly followed by his first extended play (EP), 'Last Year Was Different'. His success escalated with his hit 2018 EP 'Kiss', which featured popular tracks like "Numb" and "About Us" and attracted a wider audience. These projects were recorded over a phone and mixed by PROM.

PROMKNGHT continued to create a buzz in the music industry with the release of his EP 'When The World Sleeps' at the close of 2020. The EP featured standout tracks such as "No Games," "Proud Of Us," and "Freak Chronicles," further establishing his presence in the music world. Prom continues to captivate listeners with his unique sound, constantly pushing the boundaries of his musical style.
