Propane’s journey began in a North London workshop run by the legendary Heartless Crew in late 1999, where he first sharpened his skills. In the early 2000s, he was part of YBM, a North London music group known for tracks like Nobody Really Knows and Everyday on the Roads. By 2007, the group members went their separate ways to pursue solo careers.
In 2008, Propane stopped writing lyrics with a pen and began crafting verses entirely in his head, a creative shift that inspired his 2012 mixtape No Pen No Pad Flow. Over the years, he’s released various mixtapes and even launched his own brand, Prolific.
His career is marked by collaborations with some of the UK’s most respected names, including Page, Dubz, Youngsta, Joe Black, Gfrsh, Scorcher, K Koke, Benny Banks, Squeeks, Stormzy, Huntizzy, Mickey Slaughter, Youngs Teflon, MalikMD7, Jaja Soze, Shak Corleone, Chany, Abel Miller, and many more.
In 2021, Propane released his most recent mixtape Therapy, blending personal storytelling with street grit. Now, he’s back in full force with his NEW single “What’s It Worth” OUT SOON, with more new music on the way. From his underground roots to his current momentum, Propane continues to deliver raw, authentic music that keeps his audience locked in and ready for what’s next.
