Prophetic Psychosis

Filled with synesthesia for the body and mind, the vigorous Soul Your Music transports the listener through intersections of sound territories that compress dance-punk, post-punk, acid house, synth-rock, psychedelia, rock'n'roll and even a certain groove that dialogues with soul music and funk, overlapping layers that expand through a spectrum of musical textures, whose common denominator is the irresistible sensory appeal, as well as the lyrics sung in English.
They orbit around affective havens, metaphysics, words and silence, nature, hedonism, the fourth industrial (technological) revolution, possible transcendence and anti-Nazi messages. Or were they just provocations?

With no borders for poetic meanings or possible interpretations, the versatile lyrics are sung in English, both for the universality of the language and for its sonority, consonant with the band's klang. The band's name choice was aesthetically motivated, after a series of different names, since Ronnie and Martius met in 1999 at the Festival Babel, in São Paulo, and formed their first band. Andreas met the duo around 2014, then called The Raindrops.

Together, these longtime sound partners quietly engineered and polished the Soul Your Music & Synchronized Hpocrisy Single track collection for two years, starting from an embryonic creative structure of a guitar harmony or lied, then including the lyrics. Nothing is improvised in this group, who self-produced the EP.
