Tomáš Kováčik, aka Prorokk, winner of second place for the Czech Television Award 2019 announced by Soundtrack Podebrady and a semi-finalist of the Film Music Contest 2020, is one of Slovakia's most innovative and versatile soundtrack composers. His music transcends boundaries, embracing a wide array of popular music styles.
His career began in 2009 when he and Patrik Divéky (Very) founded Comunita Records and the group COMUNITA, creating Hip Hop music. Under the pseudonym Freestyle, he honed his skills in music creation and lyric writing.
In 2017, he pivoted to focus on film music production, seamlessly blending orchestral and synthetic elements. His rich experience in programming synthetic instruments alongside live instruments sets him apart as a unique artist in Slovakia.
In May 2024, he released the track "Sunrise" with the Portuguese Arnema Orchestra. As a freelance composer for Bleeding Fingers Music, he contributed to significant projects. He also collaborated with the first concertmaster of the Slovak Philharmonic, Jarolím Emmanuel Ružička.
Prorokk studies composition at the private conservatory Dezidera Kardoša. He has completed courses by Marc Jovani on film music composition and the use of cutting-edge technology. He regularly invests in the highest quality VST samples and equipment, ensuring his music remains at the forefront of innovation.
