Psalmist Mascot was born in a Christian home in Benin city, Nigeria into a family of seven. He is from Obudu in Cross River State.Psalmist Mascot studied Electrical/Electronics Engineering at the Rivers State Polytechnic,Bori Rivers State.

Career.
Psalmist Mascot Started his musical career as a worship leader in the choir at age 12 at Faith Missionary Church Benin City. After beginning his official career, Psalmist Mascot released his first single, "The Victory", in 2015.He became known for his message about "The Cross"
