Pseudo Black was born and raised on the islands of Trinidad and Tobago most of his life. Found out what Hip-Hop was in 2004 when he moved to Brooklyn, NY and became attached to the art ever since. As an athlete all his life, Pseudo pursued his NFL hopes at Southern Connecticut State University but did not make the final cuts. After graduating in 2014 he linked up with his roommates / teammates / now rap mates Nocturnal & JohnXSmith, and now the trifecta are becoming one of the most dangerous upcoming artists based out of Connecticut with their unique sounds. In the Fall of 2017, Pseudo released his first project “Mindset” under his previous stage name “Dojo” where he soon had to change his name due to various artist carrying the same name. Now in 2019, he plans on releasing new music under his now known stage name “Pseudo Black”, and believes that by him changing his name, the circumstance forced him to change to quality of music he writes and raise the bar higher than it ever was before so he can blast off in the rap game, and we’re here for it!
