Psyche Eunevsi is the solo project of Tom Agapitos, a Greek-Australian multi-instrumentalist based in Brisbane. It’s all written, played, recorded, and mixed by Tom—usually late at night, with tape rolling, pedals humming, and everything run through old gear to keep it warm and real.
The sound blends lo-fi psych, hazy atmosphere, and analog grit—somewhere between the hypnotic pull of The Brian Jonestown Massacre, the washed-out haze of Spacemen 3, and the art-damaged minimalism of bands like Wire, Sonic Youth and Galaxie 500.
“Yeah I don’t know why I love these bands so much,” Tom says, “maybe they just don’t give a fuck and play with feel and not overthink too much with the songs or overpolishing it. That’s why I find them so cool and inspiring.”
After experimenting on his debut EP, Tom found his groove in the imperfections of analog recording—and hasn’t looked back. Psyche Eunevsi is for those who like their music dreamy, noisy, a little cracked, and 100% handmade
