The work of Psychic Magicians is an amalgamation of bad acid dreams, poorly written love songs and the journey of a puny little computer virus against the entire human race. They are loud. They are hungry. They are here to change the world, but they are shy, and they have severe stage fear. Psychic Magicians was formed by two idiots, Anirban and Mansingh, who believed they have received supernatural abilities when they interfered with radio signals using bare hands and from that event, they claim they have telepathic powers and microwave-powered mind control, of course! Naturally, this origin story should be taken with a considerable degree of skepticism.
They added a guitarist named Raja because he has a beard, so people would take the band seriously. Mayank was selected because he thinks he can influence the world with his music, they took him in because he is as delusional as the founders. He doesn't play any instrument.
In collaboration with Nexa Music, Psychic Magicians have been featured in the cover page of the legendary rolling stone magazine with Grammy and Oscar winning producer, A.R. Rahman as one of the TOP 24 musical acts of the country.
Psychic Magicians have performed in Mumbai, Bhubaneswar, Konark, Guwahati and Kolkata. From small gigs at The Stables, Mumbai to headlining for Odisha Tourism's yearly spectacle Eco Retreat. Who knew interfering with radio signals could lead to such a magical career?
