PSYKOTIQ is a Hip-Hop artist born in Portland, OR raised in his home town Yuma, AZ. His underground vibes range from fast delivery and focus on lyrics to singing with harmonies bending multiple genres of music.
At an early age PSYKOTIQ had a deep love and passion for music. Growing up, he was heavily influenced and inspired by artists such as Tech N9ne, Bone Thugs N Harmony, 2 Pac, Dr. Dre, Eminem, 50 Cent, Evanescence, Frank Sinatra, ACDC, Aerosmith, and many more. In his later years he has garnered inspiration from artists such as Yelawolf, Joyner Lucas, Kendrick Lamar, Rittz, J. Cole & Jelly Roll.
He transitioned from fanatic listener to writing his own rhymes in 2004 at the age of 13. PSYKOTIQ started recording music around the age of 16 in 2007. By 2009 he decided to go to school for audio engineering at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Phoenix, AZ.
Over the years PSYKOTIQ has recorded many projects but did not get really serious until 2020. Partnered up with SongBirdBlak they formed the group Luminant Darkness. In 2022 the group album Inception along with PSYKOTIQ's first & second solo albums "Nocturnal Mania" & "Nocturnal Limbo" were released.
After the achieving success from the stand out record "Hold Me" PSYKOTIQ's TikTok following grew tremendously breaking his first big milestone of over 10K followers. The final album of the nocturnal series "Nocturnal Nightmares" is set to release spring 2025.
