Formed from the void, Psyrin is a dark, grunge-like four piece, whose music places you in the setting akin to that of a horror movie. Taking inspirations from Ethel Cain, Paramore, Luvcat and similar artists, Psyrin’s music takes you through a gloomy, dimly lit fever dream that you can’t manage to take your ears away from. Your morbid curiosity only draws you further in as you play through their tracks.
Chloe Morris Byrne (singer), Aoíbhe Gill (bass), Jamie Myers (drums), and Ben Englishby (Guitar), met in college and formed the band from nothing, as Chloe needed a band for an assignment. Since then they have played 2 shows in Whelan’s, one of Ireland’s most renowned venues, Toales in Dundalk, and Fred Zeppelins all the way in Cork. With many more shows coming, you should keep your eye out.
