Malesela Peter Mahlong(Ptea) was born and raised in Limpopo Mokopane. PTea was alway a big fan of radio from a very early age of 4. His love for music was not discovered from get go. It was developed though taping music with tape recorders.
PTea is South Afrikan producer/dj started to fall in love with music in a tend age. Main PTea was always listening to gospel and kwaito music. PTea's love for music was from home as they would play music during Sunday afternoons and sing along with the music. PTea loved dancing but he had two left feet
PTea started to listen to house music in 2009/2010 and he found Deep house easy on the ears and he was hooked in it. When the likes of Da capo and Coule De Song was introduced to music industry PTea started to listen to them more often and followed their sound as it was more heavy and enjoyable experience.
2011 PTea started producing music with Fl Studio 4 using his old computer. He started producing music that sound like afro house and Deep house. Sometimes he would play some electro house.
PTea is quite a versatile producer his music is influenced by the likes of Brazo wa Afrika,Chymamusique's early sounds and Da capo's Deep tribal mix. PTea's Current Sound has drifted from Soulful house music to deep from deep to unique Afro house.
