Pure State is a progressive/deep/melodic house music songwriter and producer from Australia.

Combining warm uplifting chord progressions and catchy hook lines with edgy rhythms is a consistent theme of Pure State's music.

Influences include Kygo, EDX, Martin Garrix, Tiƫsto, Alesso, Calvin Harris, Clean Bandit, Galantis, and Zedd amongst many others.

Pure State has released 4 full length albums and a number of singles since he started the project in 1997.

A remix of the Rocky them "Gonna Fly Now" was used in the massively popular Australian renovation TV show "The Block".

Having focused in recent years on other musical projects, in 2019 Pure State again became a priority and began work on new songs with full focus and a fresh new progressive/deep/melodic house inspired sound.

2020 saw the release of a further 2 singles. The highly acclaimed collaboration with the singer Annalise called "Crazy in Love" and the very catchy progressive house tune "Show Me Love".
