The angelic, dreamy & mesmerizing purelands sound is led by Marcie MadeofLight, a vocalist, composer, multi-instrumentalist & graduate of NYU in theater, music & ritual. After a series of awakening experiences at age 20, she became a sought-after somatic bodyworker & coach before embarking on a 8-year initiatory path of yogic meditation, where sacred music became her calling.

With sweeping 4-part vocal harmonies & eclectic east-west soundcollages made up of electric guitars and tablas, the purelands sound was created with an incredible roster of sacred musicians, including award-winning producer and multi-instrumentalist Ben Leinbach, Manose (Deva Premal & Miten), Shannon Hayden (Simrit), Joss Jaffe (tabla), Gawain Mathews (Guitar) and Samantha Keller (vocals). Together, they have woven precious mantras into modern musical prayers for all who seek to find themselves in peace, compassion and in the heart of joy and wonder.

These prayers are for you to work to, meditate with, heal with, cry with, and live by - they exist simply so that we all may experience and remember our own true nature - as a beings of purity and love.
