Purnzz is an Australian Brisbane based independent artist, composer and instrumentalist. Purnzz solo debut EP " RIGHT HERE WITH YOU" is an alternate rock-surf-punk sound with a touch of acoustic. Recorded at Orbit Audio studio in Seattle USA 2015. The four tracks showcase Purnzz diversity and unique style. Mixed by Joe Reineke, co-produced by Joe Reineke and Purnzz. Mastered by Howie Weinberg at Howie Weinberg Mastering Studio Los Angles.
Music has always been a central component in my life. Growing up in Brisbane in the early 90's we were lucky enough to be influenced by homegrown talent like Regurgitator, The Tellers, Pangaea, Powderfinger and Australian punk and rock The Saints, The Angels, Hoodoo Gurus, Celibate Rifles, Spiderbait, Midnight Oil. Mix all that with the the rebellion and emergence of 90's grunge and heavy rock Nirvana, Fugazi, Dinosaur Jnr., lead me into playing various roles in numerous bands. Early bands primarily as a drummer and vocalist to exploring different musical roles and recently to this latest undertaking as a solo artist. The experience of a solo project had been a desire and going to the USA to record, provided a fresh and unfamiliar environment for this to come into actualisation.
