PVNDV

PVNDV (read as Panda) is a singer-songwriter from Baguio City, Philippines whose sound blends the soul of R&B with modern chill pop and atmospheric influences. Growing up in a musically inclined family, he was surrounded by many genres, but it was the 90s era of R&B through artists like Brian McKnight, Aaliyah, Usher, and Boyz II Men that shaped his voice. By 15, he had developed a distinct vocal style that friends and family would recognize instantly, strengthened by years of singing in church choirs, glee clubs, and school competitions.

Through college he pursued music and arts more seriously and eventually began performing in local pubs, lounges, and concerts in his hometown. While R&B remains his foundation, his artistry evolved with inspirations from Lana Del Rey’s cinematic mood, the dreamy pop of Galimatias, Oh Wonder, and Banks, and the soulful energy of Jhené Aiko, Tems, Christian Kuria, Majid Jordan, and Khalid.

In 2020, during the lockdown, PVNDV released his debut single “You & High,” a song written from raw emotion and a culmination of his influences. The track marked his first step into the recording world and showed that his music could resonate beyond his hometown. With more unreleased tracks waiting to be shared, PVNDV continues to create music that feels intimate, nostalgic, and timeless, carrying the warmth of his roots into today’s evolving soundscape.
