Pvrx (pronounced “Py’Rex”) Hails from one of the most notorious blocks in Toronto, Rexdale (Jamestown). He blends his knack for soaking raps in melody with his firsthand accounts of the tough times the streets had dealt him during his formative years.
From having his break out song "Make It" placed on the Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson HBO featured football series Ballers, to being Paul Rosenberg's (manager of Eminem) first signee as CEO of Def Jam Records, Pvrx has already begun to make his imprint in the music industry.
Being at Def Jam allowed Pvrx to gain so much more experience and exposure. He used these new tools to give game to his peers and navigate through the music industry. With the resignation of Paul Rosenberg from Def Jam in 2020, Pvrx felt it was time to return to his roots and begin a new chapter of his own. He too, parted ways with the label and shifted his energy into revamping his former collective “ On Sight Rx”. He plans on allowing the company to be a platform for developing emerging artists and allowing them to flourish.
