Born in Kinston, North Carolina, 20-year-old artist and producer pvrz has been building his own corner of the music scene since 2020. Originally creating under a different alias, he eventually adopted the name “pvrz,” pronounced like the word “powers”. It was formed as a shortened version of his longtime gaming handle, “pvwerz.” The change helped better match his evolving sound.

He currently works independently, unsigned from any label, spending his time perfecting an experimental mixture of trap, bedroom synth-pop, melodic rap, and R&B. His production is defined by a dark, chill atmosphere layered over heavy bass.

His journey began with his 2023 debut release, “FATALITY,” which quickly picked up over 5,500 plays. Since then, he’s kept up the pace with tracks like “PSYCHO,” “MOTION!,” and his first EP, “RUSH.” Along the way, he’s sharpened his vocal expression, and with every new release, pvrz continues to refine his aesthetic and push his sound further than before.
