Gijs Driesenaar - <a href="spotify:artist:3vfKOf2HvIzI5d1VV1YSc4" data-name="Pyralid">Pyralid</a> - is a Dutch independent music producer and songwriter whose immersive music triggers the imagination, thanks to its rich sound and detailed textures.

His debut album, <a href="spotify:album:6KB19icXm5neQ5ElC13WbK" data-name="Life in Progress">Life in Progress</a>, released in 2022, was written and produced entirely by himself in his home studio throughout 2020 and 2021. The album portrays his self-reflective character with colorful electronic indie pop songs that generally have a positive feel to them. While some songs touch upon difficult subjects, they ultimately leave the listener in a hopeful and happy mood, conveying the idea that even difficult experiences can eventually be turned into something positive.

Since 2020 he has released singles regularly. <a href="spotify:track:2ee4PslHxyyzSWgAsEA4qK" data-name="Colorize">Colorize</a>, his most popular song to date, was recognized by the Spotify editorial team and was featured on Spotify’s <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DWWEcRhUVtL8n" data-name="Indie Pop">Indie Pop</a> playlist. 2022 saw his first collaboration: <a href="spotify:album:1sA712BXfxc4nlnYHKypXg" data-name="The End of Us">The End of Us</a>, co-produced by <a href="spotify:artist:0mCfhSsbnUKYjUzEV0Ljn6" data-name="The Fortune">The Fortune</a>. It was featured on Rolling Stone India as an exclusive premiere and was added to Spotify’s <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DXb5BKLTO7ULa" data-name="New Music Friday NL">New Music Friday NL</a>, <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DX4ghkRUdIogy" data-name="New Music Friday India">New Music Friday India</a> and <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DXaRf94BiB7fV" data-name="Fresh Finds India">Fresh Finds India</a>.
