Physicist turned music & record producer, Pyrame’s emergence into the electronic music scene is a story of wanderlust, dream catching and cosmic energy. A poet at heart, he takes the opportunity to create raw emotion through both his melodies and lyrics, when if you listen closely, are inspired by his endless adventures of the world around him. Combining elements of synth-pop, post-punk and prog-electro, his DJ affair of building both his sound and his label contains a touch of surrealism, heritage and fantasy, as his inspiration is pulled from the twists and turns of Greek Mythology. His record label, appropriately named Thisbe Recordings, comes from the myth of “Pyramus and Thisbe”, the couple of ill-fated lovers narrated by the ancient poet Ovid.
Since 2019, Pyrame has produced several mixes - "The Pace of Everything that Lives", "Electronica Melancholia", "Senses High" - and has been remixed by influential producers such as Arnaud Rebotini, Inigo Vontier, Acid Washed, Theus Mago, Rodion, Local Suicide, Skelesys, La Mverte, Semodi. More recently, Pyrame immersed himself into techno by exploring sub-genres such as tribal slow techno with Radial Gaze (collab EP "Voodooridoo") and leftfield deep techno with Andrey Sirotkin (collab EP "Untouchable")
Expect more from Pyrame in 2025, as several busting releases are already lined up both on his label´s front as well as with his own music. This, keeping faithful to his vision of staying indie and in the underground.
