Q-Cut is difficult to grasp. The producer, born in Magdeburg (Germany), has been tinkering with his sounds for several years and does not want to commit himself to any genre. Besides relaxed, catchy beats with a jazzy touch, Q is especially known for his dark and atmospheric Kaiju instrumentals. These are characterized by heavily dusty bumpy drums and deeply frequented noises of any kind. In the past, he has expanded these cinematic sound worlds several times to album length, in the form of the Kaiju trilogy, and with Moontroop he also created a completely unrecognized underground rap classic.
