Q052 is a Mi’gmaq rapper and activist from the community of Gesgapegiag in Gaspésie. Winner of the Best Male Hip-Hop Artist award at the 2023 International Indigenous Hip Hop Awards Show, nominated for Indigenous Artist of the Year at the 2021 ADISQ Gala, nominated for Expression Music Artist and Blues / Rock Artist at the 2022 Teweikan Gala and Hip-Hop Album of the Year at the 2022 GAMIQ Awards. In 2022, he released 3 albums: ImagiNation, The Storm, and The Calm—three powerful and distinct projects featuring collaborations with Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists from across Canada. To date, Q052 has garnered over 159,000 streams online, and boasts an impressive discography of 5 albums, 1 EP, and 9 singles, totaling 70 tracks.

In spring 2025, Q052 unveils Space Invaders, a hard-hitting first single with old-school hip-hop energy. The single sets the tone for Thunder Child, his highly anticipated upcoming album, set for release in the fall. 2025.

A regular guest on TVA's La Tour, Q is a prolific and eclectic artist, who can also be seen on the stages of festivals such as FEQ, La Noce, OFF Québec, Innu Nikamu, Festival Kwe!, FME, Festival Bleu Bleu, Festival en chanson and more, as well as at events and panels advocating protection of the territory, access to education, protection of Indigenous women and girls, and the economic and political sovereignty of Indigenous peoples.
