Qamil is an American vocalist, songwriter, author. She is the CEO of Soul Dope Entertainment and founder of The Ohio R&B Music Festival. Qamil's musical roots run deep as the niece of Norma Jean Wright, the former lead vocalist of the 70s disco and R&B band, Chic. Qamil has shared stages with national recording artists including Dwele, Eric Roberson, K Michelle, Adina Howard and Sy Smith. She was nominated for Best Female Vocalist at the 2014 and 2015 Ohio Hip Hop and won the 2019 WTMH Radio Award for the same category.
