An electronic pop/rock project featuring Ron Scalzo on vocals and synths, and Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal on guitars and vocals. Thal also produced, engineered and mixed all the songs on three self-released albums and various digital singles.
Q*Ball songs have been featured on MTV including The Real World, Road Rules, Pimp My Ride, Making The Band, The Osbournes, and, most famously on Clone High USA (“Snowflake Day” episode).
Influenced by new wave acts like Depeche Mode and Tears For Fears, and alt-rock acts like Faith No More and White Zombie, Q*Ball’s early success inspired Scalzo to start his own record label, Bald Freak Music, in 2005 to release his own albums, and subsequently, albums by Bumblefoot and Return To Earth -- Scalzo's alternative metal project with drummer Chris Pennie.
