Malaysian-born, Melbourne-based queer artist Qeeran serves up his debut album “IN RETROSPECT”, featuring a delicate and newer sound throughout - set for release April 17. Qeeran’s 9-track project is self-produced, written, mixed and mastered, and tackles a wide timeline of experiences from his life so far; ranging from migration, love and heartbreak, to inner and outer growth and self love. Qeeran is an independent producer, songwriter and artist carving his sonic footprint within the lines of R&B/Soul. Migrating to Australia in 2006, he holds a musical background spanning upwards from the age of 5; with his discography influenced by the likes of Galimatias, Alina Baraz and SG Lewis. While also studying in the field of Econometrics/Business Analytics at Monash University, Qeeran manifests his artistry and musicianship within his self-produced and self-written tracks.
