QL have been setting the tone in terms of dialect party sound for over two decades. No beer festival is a beer festival without QL.
At the beginning of the 2000s, it took four snotty kids from the Bernese Seeland to make Swiss music of all generations socially acceptable again - and catapult it to unimagined heights of popularity. Without the album “Heimatschutz”, with which the Biel funpunkers QL made their debut in 2004, there would have been no “Die grössten Schweizer Hits” on national TV or the CD series “'s Bescht Mundartalbum”. In short: QL's fresh and cheeky reworking of contemporary and classic Swiss songs was the shock therapy that a scene that had become sluggish so desperately needed.
