QPLO is a Tokyo-based dance music duo formed by guitarist/agitator Someya and programmer/manipulator Rio. Drawing from disco, house, and electro, their sound blends live energy with club-ready grooves that ignite dance floors.
In 2022, they launched their own label, NOQ Records, and have since released a steady stream of high-energy tracks. They also host the annual party “Beee-Hive,” themed around the idea of dancing as a form of communication—like bees in motion.
In 2025, QPLO co-hosted the Japan tour of Brazilian disco producer Joutro Mundo, and curated the Tokyo show for Chicago house legend James Curd at club asia, further expanding their footprint across the global dance music scene.
