Queen of Sol

My music consists of letters - letters from the past, present & for the future. They are threads that are connected from one time to another, all woven together into a world, the world of Queen of Sol. I write music for the warriors of the world, those who continue to fight, despite all the pain they carry. I delve into the deepest abyss and the highest peaks. The rawness gives a norse and almost mythological feeling. With the greatest of courage I unveil things that will make your heart & soul tremble, sometimes with sadness & anger, other times with love & hope. I walk through darkness to find that hidden gold.

I grew up being taught that vulnerability is a weakness. We never talked about any of our feelings, crying was frowned upon, so we did it in hiding, alone. But what is vulnerability? As an adult I now know that it means letting someone into your deep, that you’re willing to share a sacred & intimate part of yourself with someone you trust & love. Because you know that person loves you, stands by your side & catches you when you fall. This bond is unique and powerful, and it takes giving & receiving to make such a bond last.

There exists a deep within all of us. A deep that demands enormous courage to explore. We have to do it to expand our consciousness, so we can evolve. Are you ready to roar like you’ve been torn from victim to victor? Are you tired of burying your pain, are you ready to let the darkness in?
