Queezy, born Aljah White, got her feet wet early in music. Throughout her early years of schooling, Queezy became well versed in playing instruments, reading and writing music due to being in extracurricular activities in school. During high school, freestyle battles with the homies during halftime shows at the football games, inspired Quuezy to put the basketball down and pursue music. “By the time we graduated highschool, I had to make a decision: basketball or music. But music is everywhere so I went with that.” Queezy’s main focus now is to create positive vibes and bring real hip hop back to the streets. Born in Albany, Georgia and now residing in East Atlanta, Queezy grew up listening to Hip Hop Legends like Da Brat, OutKast and Eightball and MJG which influenced her new and fresh sound which she calls the Queezy Bounce. “I think I sound like a small piece of my inspirations but in my own way...it’s still me. Most of my shows are like a touch of motivation, mixed with a bounce of hip hop, and a dash of some bass. I like to connect with my audience via my words. Everybody can vibe to a beat but if they take time to listen to what you’re saying, that makes its more.” And with sharing the stages with other upcoming artists like Bigga Man, BVI and BGE and collaborating with reputable companies like Hot Noize Mag Ent., Queezy is ready to break down trendsetting doors and bring back the realness of hip hop.
