born in Memphis, Tennessee but raised in Texarkana, TX, Quentell’s humble beginnings in rural northeast Texas motivated and encouraged him to pursue his music from the very young age of 11. Raised as a preacher’s kid, as Quentell developed his spirit something else was developing as well: his ear. Taking vocal lessons with his cousin allowed him to begin discovering older styles of music from Donny Hathaway to Stevie Wonder to Luther Vandross. Quentell continued his music education at THE Prairie View A&M, where he received his bachelors in 2022.
Since then, Quentell has relocated and is currently based in Houston, TX. Immersed in Houston’s music scene, Quentell stands out as an artist that is here to stay and whose mark will soon be made and felt in the music industry.
