Comprising singer/songwriter/guitarists Maria Quiles and Rory Cloud, Quiles & Cloud is a contemporary folk duo that formed in San Francisco, California in 2011. Noted for their somber, scenic storytelling style and elegant, spare acoustic sound, the pair released their debut album, Long Time Coming, in the summer of 2012. Seminole Star followed in 2014. Their third LP and first with <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Compass+Records%22">Compass Records</a>, 2016's Beyond the Rain was produced by Grammy-winning banjoist <a href="spotify:artist:01ts5a7R3WkeE2oKIouXEK">Alison Brown</a> and featured frequent collaborator Oscar Westesson on upright bass.
