Quincy was the lead singer of The Dubbeez, with whom he won the World Reggae Contest in Poland in 2016. This victory led to an album recording at the legendary Tuff Gong Studio in Jamaica and a record deal with Ziggy Marley. With the band, he performed as a support act in Paris and Copenhagen and took the stage at the 2019 Uitmarkt alongside Guus Meeuwis.
Since 2019, Quincy has focused on his solo career and pursued vocal training at the Babette Labeij Music Academy. There, he recorded multiple singles, with Hold On being his first release. In 2025, he will release live versions recorded at the renowned Wisseloord Studios.
Growing up with a wide range of musical styles, Quincy was surrounded by the sounds of Michael Jackson, The Jackson 5, Sam Cooke, and various Motown artists. His uncle introduced him to the world of Reggae and Dub, with influences from Bob Marley, UB40, Lee "Scratch" Perry, and Burning Spear.
For Quincy, it’s all about holding on to positivity!
