On the forefront of contemporary jazz composition, Quinn Dymalski (also known as the Quinny D.) is a saxophonist, composer and artist based in Los Angeles, CA. Inspired by Progressive rock, experimental pop, and even modern classical music, Quinn’s even-eighth jazz compositions poses a rhythm and harmonic complexity that is unique to himself. Though still in the realm of jazz fusion, the winding counterpoint and heavy bass lines result in many describing his music as “big band metal.”
